A miniature replica of the historic Toronto acorn street sign at 159 Forest Hill Road, at Hillholm Road in Forest Hill's lower enclave. An interesting fact about this part of Forest Hill: 1920s bylaws required every home to be architect-designed and include a tree in the front yard. The original Rosco-manufactured signs of this type were a fixture of Toronto streets through much of the 20th century. Hand-finished with a matte dark green background, white raised lettering, and a matte green frame. Mechanically solid, carefully finished, one of a kind.
